Leslie (she & they) is passionate about helping adults ground anxiety, heal from trauma, reconnect to the wisdom of their bodies, and build more authentic & fulfilling relationships. The core values that guide their practice are slowing down, reconnecting mind & body, prioritizing experience over theory, and embracing paradox. Leslie's style is informal, rooted in courage and compassion, and glittered with humor. Leslie integrates ACT, an evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy emphasizing mindfulness, flexibility, and values-based action, with Gestalt Therapy, an embodied and experiential process of making "good contact" with self and other. She is a certified Gestalt therapist trained in the “Mariah Method” of the Pennsylvania Gestalt Center and a Licensed Be Body Positive Facilitator. They offer telehealth as well as in-person sessions on Mondays at Greenhouse Wellness.
"I came to Leslie in the midst of an identity crisis, dealing with the worst anxiety of my life. From our first session, I felt understood, accepted, and valued — I felt like she got me, which made me feel safe at a time when I was scared and disoriented. Her blend of insight, humor, and therapeutic expertise helped me out of a decade-long fog, and I came out of our experience feeling like the best version of myself."
