Lisa Armstrong is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) specializing in work with individuals and couples, siblings, and mother-daughter relationships. Lisa understands how culture qualifies, influences, and defines much of our lives and how our identities shape our experiences. She uses her training in Gestalt and Emotionally Focused Therapies to offer an inviting space of reflection on the intersecting realities of our experiences, with an emphasis on social justice, race, gender, class, ability, and religion, especially for those identifying as descendants of the African Diaspora. Lisa specializes in relationship conflict, intimate partner violence, caregiving, aging, grief loss, and life transitions.
