BIO:

Sanela Solak is a somatic psychotherapist, offering integrative psychotherapy to adults, young adults, and parents who are raising children and navigating life transitions. She holds a master’s degree in Mental health counseling and has extensive training in somatic, play and family therapy, attachment theory, and integrative somatic trauma treatment. She has worked with a wide range of people, those struggling with anxiety and depression, substance use and eating disorders, relational issues, and more. One of her passions is helping clients heal from intergenerational trauma. She offers a holistic approach to therapy attending to each individual as a whole, with their body-mind connection, as well as attention to their ancestral heritage and how they relate to the world around them. Her work is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and BIPOC and LGBTQ+ affirming. She honors the client’s inner knowledge, the inherent wisdom and intelligence of the body, and works at a pace that is appropriate to their present state and needs.

"Sanela is a sensitive care-giver and highly professional. She sees to her patients' needs and works patiently with them to achieve wellness. I would recommend Sanela to anyone looking to be fully transformed and recover from the deepest wounds."
