BIO:

Seth is a Board Certified Nurse Coach who has 11 years of clinical experience in a wide variety of settings. He has 6 years experience teaching meditation and mindfulness, has been a leader within nursing, and is a former Board President of Nancy’s House. He sees clients locally in Mt. Airy Philadelphia and sees clients nation wide through his online practice. Seth also has 22 years of Martial Arts training which inform his approach to coaching. It is this background that led him to develop his personal theory on wellness, the 8 Brocade of Holistic Wellness. Instead of seeing the eight dimensions of wellness as separated and individual areas - emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual - Seth’s theory recognizes them as being interconnected. This interconnectivity is embraced as the root of holistic problem solving. With a desire to help others more easily overcome the hurdles he has faced in the past, Seth decided to specialize in ADHD management, specifically for those who work in the tech industry. It is an industry so focused on innovation and being first to market that the people in it forget that they have to take care of themselves and each other to achieve those goals. Seth helps others gain the same resiliency and clarity he achieved so they can be their best, most-fulfilled selves. "In my program, there is no such thing as laziness: my clients learn how to take what they or others see as a bug and excel by turning it into a feature.” Seth D Rotman RN, NC-BC

"In my time working with Seth, my wellbeing has greatly improved due to the strong support and guidance I received from him. Prior to working with Seth, I felt overwhelmed with the changes I wanted to make in my life and although I knew I wanted to prioritize my health, I needed the accountability, coaching, and structure that Seth provided to truly implement these changes. One of the qualities I value most about Seth’s coaching style is his ability to ask questions that helped me uncover some of the roadblocks and barriers to the changes I wanted to implement. Seth’s thoughtful questions and observations allowed me to identify the unhealthy habits I developed over the years and the excuses I was making to justify these habits. He helped me develop better work life balance that provided me more time and flexibility to accomplish my goals including daily movement, weekly meal prep, developing a mindfulness practice and setting a sleep schedule. Seth was always encouraging and used mindfulness as the foundation of our work, reminding me to break my goals into smaller steps and to be gentle with myself as I worked to re-center my health and wellbeing. In addition to Seth’s approach to coaching, I also appreciated his expertise as a medical professional. He was able to explain the science behind some of the habits that I wanted to change and that helped to motivate me to make daily changes toward my goals. Seth explained the value of developing a sleep schedule and mindfulness practice and the positive impact those habits can have on my nervous system and my daily mood and ability to process conflict and stress. I would recommend Seth’s coaching to anyone who is seeking guidance and motivation to make changes in their life. Not only is he gracious and encouraging but he is an expert in all things wellness and was an incredible accountability partner in support of my health goals."
